Before you drop it in: to write the questions, your study guide’s text goes through our server to Anthropic’s Claude AI model. We don’t store it, and Anthropic doesn’t use it to train its models. Don’t include student names or any other student information. Spreadsheets with question and answer columns are read in your browser and never sent.

Tips for the best board

Spreadsheets with Category, Question, and Answer columns load exactly as written. Two-column vocab lists (Term, Definition) become “what term matches this definition” questions. For other files, questions are written from the content, and you can check and edit every one before you play. Scanned PDFs (pictures of pages) don’t contain readable text; export the original document instead. Google Docs: File › Download › PDF or .docx.

Boards, teams, and scores are saved only in this browser. Use Save board file to keep a game or move it to another computer.
